Amazing Grace / Grace Greater Than Our Sin /

Only a Sinner

Grace Medley

From the recording, My Master and My Friend

Grace means getting what one does not deserve.  How grateful I am that I know that the Lord Jesus Christ (Who died, was buried and rose again), has given me forgiveness for my sin and eternal life by His grace. This grace is what helps me to live, and one day, it will help me to die and receive my eternal home in Heaven.  This grace is available to all who will believe.  Have you received this grace in your life?

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us . . .

That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:4,7,8,9.

Grace Medley Lyrics

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.

Marvelous grace of our loving Lord,
Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt!
Yonder on Calvary’s mount outpoured,
There where the blood of the Lamb was spilled.

Refrain

Grace, grace, God’s grace,
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Grace, grace, God’s grace,
Grace that is greater than all our sin.

Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace,
Freely bestowed on all who believe!
You that are longing to see His face,
Will you this moment His grace receive?

Refrain

Naught have I gotten but what I received;
Grace hath bestowed it since I have believed;
Boasting excluded pride I abase;
I’m only a sinner, saved by grace!

Refrain

Only a sinner, saved by grace!
Only a sinner, saved by grace!
This is my story, to God be the glory,
I’m only a sinner, saved by grace!

Ephesians 2:4-9 ribbon

4.But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ,

(by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together

in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace

in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:

it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
