Meet the Artists
I want you to meet the other musicians who have had a part in these recordings in some way. Each one is special to me!
Heather Roberts-Ross began her music education when she was six-years-old. Heather serves in church and as senior high homeroom teacher. Among her areas of ministry are writing and directing church plays, arranging music, instructing in piano, and teaching several secondary education subjects at the Mukwonago Baptist Academy in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. Heather provides the beautiful sacred stylings in My Master and My Friend and My Blessed Redeemer.
The String Quartet in the above albums, Joshua, Ruth Ann and Nathan Ledgerwood, and Anna Grace Van Gelderen played together in the Heritage Strings Ensemble throughout their youth.
Pamela Loggans is a piano pedagogy teacher at Maranatha Baptist Bible College with over thirty years experience. She has played congregational accompaniment since childhood. She is the mother of four children and a Pastor’s wife. She plays all of the piano and keyboard arrangements in My Faithful Lord.
Tim Hammond is a church music director with a Master’s Degree in cello performance. He also teaches cello at Maranatha BBC. He beautifully performs the cello accompaniments in My Faithful Lord.
Betsy Pabon, a former strings teacher at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and present Chair of the Strings Department at Maranatha, has spent her lifetime studying and teaching violin and stringed instruments. She lends her lovely harmonization and obbligatos in My Faithful Lord.
Victoria Mulder, who has directed and taught elementary and Jr. High musicians for twenty-five years, adds her rich clarinet to all of the productions. She is the mother of six and is active in her local church.
Ramona Oláh began studying the piano in the second grade. She was the primary pianist at the Bible Baptist Church in Pecs, Hungary from ages 11 until 20 when her parents left to plant a new church. She has studied piano pedagogy, music theory, and music history in several music academies and a college. She is presently serving with her parents in their church in Nagykanizsa, Hungary.
The Messengers of Truth, James Knies, Béla Gádo, Dávid Oláh, and Zoltán Kiss have sung together as a quartet since they were children. All of these young men love to preach and love to serve the Lord. They are all presently studying for the ministry.
Marta Bukszar, long time member of the Pecs Opera Company, university voice professor and coach of the opera chorus, is the voice teacher of Valerie in Hungary. Valerie has studied with her since 2006.
Ben Klaus, Glen Quintana, Monty Budahl, Ami Potter and the above musicians have all been vital to the sacred musical arrangements on these albums.
